Daniel W. Gall, 49, of Rockton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 9, 1963, in Rockford, son of Elbert and Dorothy (Welch) Gall. On Aug. 4, 1990, he married Connie Day in Loves Park. A 1981 graduate of Harlem High School, Daniel was a volunteer fireman for North Park Fire Department for more than 20 years. He loved fishing, hunting, computers, his animals and spending time with his family. His survivors include wife of 22 years, Connie Gall; mother, Dorothy Gall; sisters, Donna Morton, Diana "Dee" Lynn, Sharon (James) Warren and Pat (Keith) Hale; brother, Alan (Valerie) Harlacher; mother-in-law, Thelma Day; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by father, Elbert Gall. Services at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Interment at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 4 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Pastor K.D. Bodwell will officiate.
