Danny C. Henthorn

Danny C. Henthorn, 80, of South Beloit, IL, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in South Beloit, IL. Danny was born March 23, 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio, son of Henry C. and Lillian (Plymale) Henthorn. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and went on to serve in the United States Navy for 6 years. Danny worked as a car salesman for many years at various places such as: Bryden Motors, Lou Bachrodt, and Lou Jacks Auto. He was also a sales consultant for many dealerships. Danny was an over the road trucker as well. He married Patricia “Patty” Mackiewicz on August 14, 1993. Danny enjoyed woodworking, crossword puzzles, and reading. He liked fishing and supporting his granddaughter, MaKayla at her hockey games.

Danny is loved and missed by his wife, Patty; sons, Chet (DeAnne) Mackiewicz, and Nick (Lora) Mackiewicz; grandchildren, MaKayla, Michael, McKenna, and Jillian; niece and nephew, Tammy Burns-Allen and Terry (Marlene) Burns. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Danny Henthorn D’Andrea, and brother Bill Burns.

Private funeral services will take place. Entombment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
