David A. Lundgren, 45, of Rockford, passed away March 4, 2010 of a sudden illness. He was born February 27, 1965 in Rockford the son of Duane and Virginia (Boyer) Lundgren. David attended Jefferson High School. He was a member of the golf team and loved the outdoors. He worked as a carpenter, machinist and in construction for many years. Survived by his parents; daughter, Annie Lundgren; brother, Dale (Mia) Lundgren; sister, Sue (Ted) Smalley; niece, Amanda Smalley; nephew, Brandon Holliday; step-children, Ryan and Corey Lawnduski; special friend, Kathy Wilheln. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Cremation rites have been accorded.
