Dolores M. Davidson

Dolores M. Davidson, 90, of Rockford, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 1, 2013. Born on January 10, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI, she was the daughter of William and Ada Burgess. She married Frank M. Davidson on April 20, 1946 in Rockford.

She retired from Weyerhauser Corp. and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Arie #392.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Davidson and Diana (Tim) Dobratz; grandchildren, Debra Jimmerson, Judi Firlik, Jason Jimmerson, Tabatha Suttles, Andy Firlik, Karl Wolf, Angela and Elizabeth Dobratz; 19 great grandchildren, and 3great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, 4 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter, parents, and 5 siblings.

Funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A memorial luncheon will be held in her honor 1 p.m., at FOE Arie #392, following service at 3829 11th Street, Rockford.
