Don Sherman Foster, 62, of Rockford passed away Tuesday September 8, 2015 at his residence.
Don was born on February 13, 1953 in Rockford the son of Edwin and Doris (Stewart) Foster. Don worked for Ring Can Corp for 23 years. Don had a good heart and was always helped anyone when needed.
Don is survived by his father Edwin; brothers Edwin (Vickie) Foster and John Foster; sisters Karen Turley and Vickie (Jim) Bauer; many nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his mother Doris.
A service to celebrate Don’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday September 14, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park with Pastor David McDaniel officiating. Visitation for Don will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
