Donald was born on the 3rd of November in 1928, and passed away on September 2, 2011 after he had been ill for quite some time. He married the love of his life, Astrid Brenner, in 1954. They were married for 58 long years before his unfortunate death. During his life, he worked as an accomplished Tool and Die tool maker. He proudly made parts for the Lunar Space Module. He also worked for Kinroth and Sons, before working at Swebco Manufacturing. Throughout his life, he proved to be a great provider. He had two sons, that he would have done anything for. He enjoyed his many animals, fly fishing, hunting, and reading books about the military. Donald also served our country in the Korean War as a tank retriever and a skilled pilot. His death was preceded by that of his eldest son Robert, parents Harold and Connie, and his brother Jerry. His long life left behind many beloved survivors, including his wife Astrid, his remaining son Gary, his granddaughters Brooke, Holli, and Amber, his great grand children Zachery and Madison, and his multiple nephews and nieces.
