Donna F. Stewart Bonifacio

Donna F. Bonifacio, 61, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at her home. Born September 20, 1948 in Halls, TN; the daughter of J.W. and Bonnie (Cammire) Stewart. Donna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and an advocate for breast cancer awareness. Donna loved life, she had the most contagious laugh and smile but most of all she had a caring heart. She took pride in her home and yard. Survivors include her step mom Jean (Jeff) Waters of Rockford, sisters Kathy (John) Bradford of Gulfport, MS and Debi Kryger of Bloomingdale, IL as well as her daughter and son-in-law Rosa and David Fagerstrom and her unborn granddaughter of Chandler, AZ. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Sam Bonifacio, brother Jimmy W. Stewart and sister Dorothy (Stewart) English. The family would like to give special thanks to all of those at OSF St. Anthony Cancer Care Center and Visiting Nurses Association Hospice Care. Especially Dr. Mete Korkmaz and staff for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine, Machesney Park, IL.
