Donna J Woolever

Donna J. Bokker Woolever, 71, of Winnebago died Friday, March 15, 2012 at Rockford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born September 13, 1940 in Rockford daughter of Harry and Evelyn Bokker. On January 22, 1961 she married Leo L Woolever. Donna stayed around the little town of Winnebago all her life. She worked at Green Shutters Drive-In, the Berles and Rockford Eclipse. She worked hard alongside her husband most of her life. Her favorite job was watching all of her grandkids. She enjoyed arts and crafts, camping with her family, going to the gambling boats, and her horses.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Leo; children Jeffrey Woolever, Cheryl Woolever; grandchildren Jessica, Jason, Cierra (Rudy) Cole (Paige), Jaclyn; sisters, Delores Bellars; brother Ken(Sue) Bokker; cousin don (Donna) Bokker; brothers in law Tom (Mary) Woolever, Raymond (Gloria) Woolever; sisters in law Esther Bohnert, Beverly (Wally) Sorrel, Delores (Herb) Woolever, Marilyn Woolever; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Marilyn Bolton, her in-laws Helen Strausenberg, Forest Woolever, Neil “Happy” Woolever, Robert, Herb and William Woolever.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Fri, March 23 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park. Funeral service will be at 1 pm on Sat, March 24 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Machesney Park. Online condolences visit www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com.
