I grew up living right next door to Dotty. She was an amazing women. I have so many great memories with her and Bill. Every August she would throw a grand birthday party in her gazebo for me and my brother and all the kids on the block with summer birthdays. I’ve had countless tea party’s and play dates with her. She would let me play in her victorian set up guest room. We kept in touch with cards and phone calls all these years. It breaks my heart to find out she is gone. When I was in school I had interviewed her for a project (I was about 7 or 8) and it ended up winning a ribbon. Dotty had asked to keep it which she did. I really have so many memories, I was lucky to visit Rockford again a few years back and meet with her again. My condolences to the family.

My sincerest regrets are with your family at this time. A tremendous loss I’m sure is being felt by your family. May your fondest memories as well as the memories that others shared with your dear Dottie bring you comfort now as well as the future. Another true source of comfort provided for us is one found at Isaiah 25:8, it is a promise that we can put full hope and confidence in, that hope is that God will eliminate death forever and wipe the tears from our faces. Soon the thing that brings us so much pain will not be able to affect us at all.
