Ethan W Struse

Ethan W. Struse, 20, of Loves Park, passed away at his home on Friday, July 8, 2011. Ethan was born on September 21, 1990 in Rockford. He is the son of Jerry and Bunny Struse of Loves Park. Ethan graduated from Harlem High School in 2009. He worked at Chuck E. Cheeses and Wendy’s while he attended Rock Valley Community College. Ethan dearly loved his son Tyler James Woolsey- Struse. He also had a love for music, playing the guitar and the bass. Left to share in his memory are his parents, Jerry and Bunny, brother Colin Struse all of Loves Park, his son Tyler of Loves Park, grandparents, Clarence and Mary Lou Christiansen of Roscoe, and Jack Struse of Loves Park, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ethan is preceded in death by his grandmother, Norene Struse. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, 61115, with Rev. Brent Dahlsing of Grace Lutheran Church in Loves Park, and Rev. Clarence Christiansen of 1st United Church of God in Rockford officiating. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Gardens. www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com
