Sister Lane,Ruth,Joyce and family we are so sorry for your loss, Brother Lane was a wonderful person and loved God very much and an inspiration to everyone that knew him, so sorry we were unable to attend services we know God is with you.

Dear Joyce, Ruth and Bud, and the rest of the family,  I have just heard about your loss.  I know your hearts are heavy at this time.  We all know that Brother Lane has gone to a higher ground but it would be nice to have him back for at least one more day.  And Sister Lane, I know you feel you have lost half of your heart.  Seventyfive years is a long time to be partners.  I have fond memories of your husband/father.  He was one of a kind, such a tease at church.  We all loved Brother Lane. And you know that when we are all one in Christ Jesus, we are all reallly still together.  May the Spirit of the Lord be ever with you at this time.  Love to all, Glenda Joy Bateman-Bennett

Thinking of you at this time of sadness but joy of knowing where he is.  Ruth Bunjes

Aunt Ruth and family, what a great legacy he leaves behind. Even tho I didn't know him - I have heard wonderful stories about him from Kahla. Prayers to your family for strength during this time of saying goodbye..... till you meet again.

Thinking of the good times at the Lane House - It is bitter sweet to loose a parent but the excitement for them to join their family in heaven.  Our Love to the family and espceially our close friend so many years  RUTH .

What a Christian hero and gentle giant! He courageously fought the battles and faithfully ran the race.. He read and sang the old songs of Heaven... where he is now with no more pain, fear, or sorrow. We will always remember how gracious and generous Floyd and Helen were  to us when we first came to Rockford in the 60's.  We are so sorry for the loss you feel  but his memory will always be in our hearts, living especially thru his BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!

We couldn't have asked for a better Grandfather, and I can only imagine the joyful reunion taking place between him and my brother right now! Love you Grandpa!

Lane and Helen have always been like me second set of parents and I love them dearly.  I have so many great memories if him helping on the farm, he was always there!  They always picked Mike and I up for Sunday school and church when my Dad had so many chores to do and that they couldn't go. We have the assurance that we will all be together again!  Love you all!

Lane was the best!  I will never forget all his wonderful stories and memories he has has shared over the years. He was always so special to me. He will truly be missed. There is no doubt we will be seeing each other again!
