Most of my memories of Uncle Frank involve laughter. Whether it was Uncle Frank and Uncle Ken out fishing in the boat in the evening and screaming as the bats came out and dove at them, or Uncle Frank and Dad singing "Crazy Arms" (much to my mother's chagrin), laughter just accompanyied him wherever he went. And then there was his original song composed at the lake (before there was indoor plumbing there) "I've Got The Outhouse Blues."

I will miss him, as we all will. There is sorrow at his departure, but there is also joy in knowing that the separation is temporary. He is already celebrating and enjoying a wonderful reunion, with those who have gone on before him and with his Savior whom he now sees face to face.

I pray God's grace and peace will comfort Aunt Lori, Pam, Dan, and the rest of the family. We have wonderful memories to reflect on, and a glorious hope to look forward to.

Frank... Grandpa..Great Grandpa...Papa..Husband...friend..He was many different names to many different people. There was also something about him that was the same to everyone who knew him. And that was the Christ-like example that he set for all of us to learn from. Wether it was in his devotion to his wife for so many years, or in his friendship to those who needed a friend, his Godly advice and counsel to his children and grandchildren, or in the way he loved the unlovable, Frank truly kept Christ at the center of every aspect of his life! Everyone who knew him, knew what he stood for! For me personaly, Grandpa represented Christ in the way he loved me regardless of my choices. I was estranged from my family for more than 18 years due to my poor choices.When God softened my heart and I returned to the family, Grandpa was waiting with arms wide open! He was not waiting to condemn me, or scold me for my behavior. He simply was glad to have me home! Isn't that what God is like? It doesn't matter how long we turn away from Him and do our "own thing". It doesn't matter what we have done..God still waits with open arms, just wanting us to turn back to Him. And when we do, He surrounds us with love and grace! I will never forget how Grandpa did that for me!  And knowing now that Grandpa is with Jesus gives me great joy and a peace that surpasses all understanding! He would not want any of us to cry over his leaving this earth (even though our selfishness makes us mourn). Instead he wants us to celebrate with him, as that is what he is doing now! As much as I will miss him, I choose to celebrate his life, celebrate where he is, and be grateful that I was able to be in his life for the past several years! I love you Grandpa! "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"

Frank was known by many names: Dad, Grandpa, Papa, Great Grandpa, husband,Uncle, etc..Although he was known by many different names by many different people, one thing about Frank was the same for everyone who knew him. Wether it was being a loyal husband, being a friend to someone who needed a friend,  giving Godly advice to his children and grandchildren, or loving the unlovable, Frank set the example of representing Christ in all aspects of his life! As soon as God softened my heart and I returned to this family, Grandpa was there waiting with arms wide open, just as Christ does for us. No matter how long we ignore Him, no matter what we have done, God still waits for us with loving arms, wanting us to come home. This is something that I will never forget about Grandpa! I don't think anyone who knew him could question his faith. Everyone who knew him, knew what he stood for. Knowing this gives me great joy and a peace that surpasses all understanding knowing that he is with Jesus! Grandpa would not want anyone crying over this, as he is home now, right where he was meant to be! As hard as it was to say goodbye (for now), I choose to celebrate Grandpa's life, and look forward to seeing him again! One last thing to say to Grandpa which I know he has already heard."Well done my good and faithful servant!"

"Because I don't want to play like Uncle Frank!" is one of the clearest recollections I have of his sister's voice . . . whenever I would ask my mom why she didn't play boogie woogie on the piano like Uncle Frank. Nothing but fond memories of laughter, times at Long Lake and learning to chop up hot pickled peppers into my goulash.

Praying for my Aunt Lori and all her family after she watched her life long love, my Uncle Frank go home to be with Jesus today. They were the best example of a beautiful marriage in Christ that I have ever seen in my lifetime! I have so many wonderful and joyful memories of spending time with them usually laughing are selves silly. I can't remember a time being with them that Uncle Frank didn't have us all in stitches with laughter. He was the funniest man I knew. I am so glad I got to see them both again at our family reunion, it was such a glorious time I will always remember! He was such a man of honor and truth and loved our Lord so deeply and shared so much with us all about the times we are living in. He had such a gift from God of playing piano by ear that always amazed me! I bet he's playing the piano for Jesus right now while the angels sing along celebrating his coming home! I posted this on Facebook but also wanted to post it here so my precious and wonderful Aunt Lori could see it.  I am praying for you! I love you! Gigi Lovelace

To the Morse family, though we didn't know Frank long, we had some fun and funny times in our two year relationship! We will miss Frank's sense of humor!  Lori, we know that God will provide everything you need and keep you. We will continue to pray for your health and strength during this difficult time, including the entire family.
