Friederike Broge, 96, of Roscoe, IL passed away on December 22, 2022. Friederike was born in Austria on January 23, 1926 to Johann and Rosina Nowotny. In 1952, Friederike came to the United States as a military wife after marrying the love of her life, Donald Broge in Montreal, Canada. She was an avid animal lover, always caring for her dogs.
Friederike is survived by many nieces and nephews in the United States and extended family in Austria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Broge and her parents, Johann and Rosina Nowotny.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11am at Sunset Memorial Gardens (8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
