Gary L. Webster

Gary Lee Webster, 74, of Rockford, IL passed away June 30, 2022. He was born on June 24, 1948 to Constance and Bert Webster. Gary faithfully served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the local VFW 9759 and very proud of his time in the service. He was a deeply loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He spent 53 years in marriage with the love of his life Linda. Together they shared two children. He enjoyed Elvis Presley music, going fishing, and wood work. Above all, he enjoyed the quality time spent with family, playing cards or dice, watching movies, and showing his support for those he loved.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife; Linda Webster, children; Jeffery (Theresa Polhill) Webster and Christopher (Mariann) Webster, grandchildren; Dakota (Breah Ellis) Webster, Katherine (Colby Collins) Webster, and Eric (Carrie) Wolfe, 4 great grandchildren, siblings; Anthony (Lori) Webster, and Rose (Bret) Beachamp, he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends that he loved dearly.

He is welcomed into heaven by his parents, and in-Laws, Joseph and Mary Lou Metz.

A memorial Gathering for Gary will be Sunday, July 10, from 12-2pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park IL 61115.
