Geraldine “Geri” Ann (Levins) DiGiovanni, 61, of Machesney Park, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Geri was born on January 26, 1964, in Hackensack, New Jersey to Adam and Joyce (Walther) Levins. She graduated from Harlem High School and furthered her education by attending beauty school, where she learned the art of nails. Geri loved the world of beauty, and was sure her nails and hair were just right. Geri also had a special interest in collecting angels throughout her years, which attributed to her faith. Above all else, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Any chance she got to spend time with them was a perfect day for her.
She is survived by her children, Crystal (Randy) Spencer, Gennifer Day, and Aadam (Nicole) Day; grandchildren, Isaac Spencer, Noah Day, Gabriel Day, and Everlee Day; brother, Steve (Dawn) Levins; nieces and nephew, Gillian, Alaina, and Robert; special nieces and nephew, Tobias, Rory and Scarlett.
Geri was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Joyce; brother, Michael Levins.
A Celebration of Life visitation for Geri is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115.
