

Born, January 16, 1927 in Rockford, to Manley and Lillian (Brockway) St. John.
Gordon served in the U.S. Navy, during WWII, on the USS Boxer. He received several medals for his faithful service.
He later went on to marry the love of his life, Eva (Myers) St. John on February 16, 1950.
Gordon played a role in the creation of the Harlem Community Center. He thoroughly enjoyed working on, and restoring antique cars, playing golf, and cheering for the Chicago Bears.
Survivors include children, Tonda (Larry) Borrison, Carla (Denny) Lee, Randy (Katie) St. John, and Gordy St. John; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and 13 siblings.
