Hamae “Mary” Rawhoof, 75, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was born March 22, 1937 in Saitama-ken, Japan, daughter of Takichi and Midori Mukasa. In 1957 she married Henry Rawhoof in Japan.
Hamae enjoyed crochet, crafts, dancing, gardening, cooking, and classical music. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Ron (Treva) Rawhoof, Debbie Mukasa, Don (Diane) Rawhoof, and Charlie (Kelli) Rawhoof; eight grandsons, one granddaughter, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, and her parents.
