

Harold E. “Joe” Cooper, 76, died Thursday, April 27, 2017 in the comfort and care of Neighbors Nursing Home in Byron, with family by his side. Joe was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was born December 25, 1940 in Charleston, MO. to Everett and Ora Cooper. In a life well celebrated, Joe filled his life with a career at Forgings N Stampings for over 45 years working along with his brother Jobe. He embraced the outdoors on the golf course, hunting in the woods and fishing up in Canada. He enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends and members at the LLL’s, Eagles, Harmony and SM&SF Clubs. Joe enjoyed playing pool and was a bowler and recognized as leagued sanction when he bowled his perfect 300 game. He devoutly cared for his parents.
Survived by sisters, Eula Blackshear, Mary (Bob Ray) Sowl; brothers, Jobe (Donna) Cooper, Calvin Cooper; loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; brother-in-law, Jerry.
