Isabel Ann Sallee, 92 Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother of Rockford, Il. Passed away peacefully Friday afternoon September 30th 2011, at home from a recent illness. Born September 6th 1919 in Duluth Mn. Isabel's favorite bird was the cardinal. It wasn't until recently that I realized why she loved them so much. They are beautiful, bright and joyful singing birds, much like Isabel. Isabel lived each day of her life joyfully and always knowing that each day was a gift from God. Survived by her husband of 68 years Lester Sallee, daughter Gail O'Rourke and Dennis O'Rourke, Granddaughter Annette Benson, husband Sean Benson and great grandchildren Austin, Natalie,and Grabriel. Grandson James O'Rourke, wife Angela O'rourke and Great granddaughter Sophia. Predeceased by Grandson Eric Micheal O'Rourke.
