My daughter and I used to live on 16th Street and Ivan would walk by the house on his normal walking route. One day, Avery fell off of her bike and was hurt pretty bad. Ivan was nearby and saw it happen...he came over to her, helped her off the ground, and walked her and the bike back home. After that, he always stopped to speak to us. Avery also used to catch the bus right on the corner across from his house and would talk to him and sometimes even walk with him back home. Now she's 17 and when I told her of his passing, she reminded me of those stories. He was a very kind and sweet man.

Gramp's, I miss and love you so much. Thank you so much for helping me raise such a wonderful young man. I know you and Blake think the world of each other. We're going to be so lost without you. I'm so glad that Blake has so many of your traits. Blake is a 21 year old Ivan Livingston, that's for sure and I wouldn't change it for the world. I LOVE YOU. JennyPoo. Oh and here's a 5 generation photo

Anyone who ever cooked breakfast at the Eagle's Club, knew exactly how Ivan wanted his eggs. He liked his eggs hard, hard. He was still going to give you a hard (no pun intended, just a happy accident) time when you brought them, but he usually got his eggs right. Condolences to his family.
