Jaime was born in Tepehuanes, Mexico to Francisco and Ofelia Martinez on May 8th, 1976. He worked as an electrical maintenance technician for many different companies. He enjoyed working on his PLCs, fishing, playing PS4, watching movies, bike riding and loved to cook. He loved his Chicago Bears and loved to joke around and tell everyone all of his life stories.
Jaime is survived by his parents Francisco and Ofelia Martinez, Children Alejandro, Jocelyn and Cytha Martinez, and brother Paquin Martinez. He is preceded in death by his son Jimmy Martinez, and his sisters Rosie Acosta, and Susie Diaz.
A visitation for Jaime will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115. As Jaime loved his Chicago Bears, the family would love for you to wear navy blue, orange, or any Chicago Bears gear you may have.
