He was born May 24,1943 in Valparaiso, Indiana. James served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning several decorations for his service. He married his wife Vicki of 28 years on October 20, 1981.
She preceded in death on May 17, 2008.
He is survived by his sister Pam Bosan and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday August 11, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL. Interment will take place following services at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
