James L. Kelley,85, of Land O’ Lakes, FL, passed away January 20, 2018. He was born in Rockford, IL and moved to FL in 2005 to retire. From 1952-1956 James served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Korea. James worked for Westinghouse Electric for six years and Department of Energy for over 25 years. He liked sports, reading, crossword puzzles and wine collecting. He enjoyed going on cruises. James had an enduring love for his wife.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Kelley; three sisters- in- law, Barbara DeMoss, Joanne Sjolin and Sandra Sjostrom; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Visitation at 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
