Jean Ann Marsili

Jean Marsili, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2014 at the age of 89 with her daughter by her side. Born to Joseph and Maria DeCori in 1925, Jean was raised in Rockford. She attended West High School and in 1946 married her high school sweetheart Anthony (Tony) Marsili. They were long time members of St. Anthony of Padua Church and Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club.

Jean enjoyed fishing, golf and was an avid Bridge player. In 2007 Jean moved to Winter Park, FL to be near her daughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula E. Marsili, Casselberry, FL; her brother-in-law Mario (Elenor) Marsili; nephews Steve (Kathy) Marsili; Jim (Jill) Marsili; Jeff Marsili; and her niece Barb (Rick) Calvette.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Anthony in 2000; her sister Lillian Saxton and brother-in-law Bill Saxton; and her sister-in-law Beverly (Mario) Marsili.

Funeral mass 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1010 Ferguson Street, Rockford; Father James Ciaramitaro officiating. Visitation, 9 a.m. to time of mass. Entombment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: American Parkinson Association or PAWS Humane Society Rockford.
