Jean A. Nance

Jean A. Nance, 84, of Fort Lupton, CO (formerly of Rockford, IL) passed away on March 17, 2021. Jean married Robert Nance and shared 36 years together before his passing in 2002. She did custodial work for her Congregational Church and was part of the Marimaids. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her children: Robin (Tim) Richardson, Sharon J. (Dan) Schiro, Laurie (Ed) Winslow and Dan Nance; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister Carol and brother Paul (Geri); two special lifelong friends Bonnie Albert and Karen Hamilton. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Ronald Nance.

Service to celebrate Jean’s life will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park; visitation for Jean will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
