Jennifer “Jenny” Lynn Lindsey, 42, of Machesney Park passed away on February 16, 2019. Jenny was born in Rockford, the daughter of Francis D. and Karen S. (Gray) Lindsey. Jenny attended Harlem High School and worked hard at numerous jobs in the Rockford area. Jenny grew up in a loving home in Rockford, always surrounded by her siblings, cousins and friends. They were always playing outside as kids: swimming, playing “hide and seek”, sunbathing and rescuing animals. As an adult, Jenny had two children whom she loved with all her heart and later a beautiful granddaughter who was her world. She loved her family, friends and was a hard worker. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking, dancing and loved animals, especially horses.
Jenny is survived by her mother and father: Karen S. and Francis D. Lindsey; sister Michelle M. Lindsey; brother Steven T. Lindsey; daughter Katelynn A. Lindsey; son Delsin J. Borger; granddaughter Navah M. Tejada; former husband and father of her children Samuel J. Borger; nephews Brandyn W. Lindsey and Christopher J. Dehmer; niece Faith M. Lindsey; her special “cuzzo” Stephanie Lindsey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; former husband Brian Livingston and family; former mother-in-law and whom she was very close to Alana Williams. Jenny was preceded in death by her grandparents: Claude Carter, Ruth (Hoffman) Carter, William Lindsey and Eileen Lindsey.

Visitation for Jenny will be Monday, February 25th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park with a service to celebrate Jenny’s life at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Lisa Sands-Abb officiating.
