Jennifer Razim-Mallo, 45 of Winnebago, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Born May 23, 1972 in Beloit, WI. Daughter of Leonard (Carole) Razim and Aneita Finch. Graduate of North Boone High School class of 1990. Graduate of Rockford College of Nursing where she received her Bachelor’s degree. Employed by Rockford Memorial Hospital, Swedish American Hospital and finally at the V.A. in Freeport. Jennifer was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. Always a smile on her face that went along with her wicked sense of humor that also led to annoying her little brother. She enjoyed painting, listening to all kinds of music especially to Steve’s singing, cooking out with her friends and family. Anytime spent with her family especially the holidays is where she loved to be. Jennifer was a very spiritual person whose compassion showed in her caring and nurturing ways.
Survived by her parents, Leonard (Carole) Razim and Aneita Finch; children, Joshua Mallo and Julianna Mallo; fiancé, Steve Lindsay; siblings, Stacie (Andrew) Duncan, Len (Danessa) Razim, step-siblings, Jim (Karen) Chamberlain, Lisa (Rick) Bakewell; maternal grandmother, Frances T. Hurley; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, special friends to many to list. Predeceased by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather; cousin, Tracey Clark.
Funeral Service at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Visitation at 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the family for Jennifer's children.
