Joann M. Patton

Joann M. Patton, 54, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away Monday January 30, 2012 after a long illness; born September 22, 1957 to Joe & Ann(Files) Alexander; married to Bruce Patton November 7, 1981; Joann was a home maker that loved her husband dearly, and enjoyed playing with the animals at every occasion outside in the yard. Her crafts, crocheting, and watching the soap opera were also treasured times for Joann. Singing at the Image Bar karaoke and listening to country music, playing darts in a league filled many fun times with Bruce; survived by husband Bruce of Rockford; brother Robert Alexander of Machesney Park; nephew Aaron Davis of Dalton Georgia, and Josh Davis of Talladega, Alabama; nieces Amber Harrison and Violet Davis both of Talladega; step brother Jim Lawrence of Rockford, Illinois; predeceased by parents, sister Barb Davis; Special friend Wendy Cash and Joann Anderson; Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 3, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N.
