John C. Wade, 63, of Rockford, IL, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside. He was born November 3, 1958 in California, the son of Francis and Marilyn (Kolley) Wade. John graduated from high school and went on to work as a shop mechanic. He enjoyed being involved with the Midway Village Civil War Reenactments and had a love of photography.
John is survived by his siblings, Jay (Martha) Wade, Cassandra Yates, Lea (Gary) Viel, Lorella (Allan) Huber, Sheila Wade and Richard (Vickie) Wade; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Marilyn Wade.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 21, 2022 at Halsted Baptist Church, 3326 Halsted Rd, Rockford, IL, 61101. Entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
