Joseph E. Zagorski, 82, of Machesney Park, passed away Saturday February 20, 2016. Born January 19, 1934 in East St. Louis, IL. Son of Andrew and Harriet (Little) Zagorski. Graduate of Southern Illinois University in 1956 with a degree in Chemistry. Married Nedra Hamilton on July 7, 1956. Employed as a chemist for Pfizer. Besides his love for his family, he enjoyed painting, drawing and studying the Bible.
Survivors include children, Dan (Shirley) Zagorski, John (Lori) Zagorski, Kate (Bruce)Buckner; grandchildren, Mandy (Matt) Ross, Danielle (Josh) Foltz, David (Sarah) Zagorski, Joe (MacKenzie) Zagorski, Annie (Peter Sidebotham) Zagorski, Laura (Abe) Zamora, Brian (Hannah) Knuth; 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents and son, David Zagorski.
