Judith “Judi” Elliott, 75, of Loves Park IL, passed away April 26, 2021 at Javon Bea Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born on July 7, 1945 to Forest and Goldie Angstead in Rockford. Judi was a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Judi brought beauty to her home and her community with her love for gardening and eye for design. She was on the Machesney Park Zoning board, and went on to spend her time volunteering for “Winnebago County, Clean and Beautiful.” Judi had a green thumb. She was also a talented crochet and sewing artist. She loved making clothes for her children when they were growing up. On July 9, 1977 she married the love of her life, Gary Elliott. The couple moved back to Loves Park to be closer to family, and enjoy their retirement with their children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading about archeology, doing puzzles, and enjoying her many crafts. Judi will be remembered for her selfless heart and devotion to her family. She will be missed by many. She is survived by her loving husband; Gary Elliott, children, Vera Adams of Mt. Morris IL, Don Swagger of Rockford, and Cameo (Steve) Baehler of Machesney Park, as well as 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Forest and Goldie Angstead. I wrote yesterday but it did not come through.
About 20 years of memories here . First met Judi when she managed a RV park we lived at. Judi sure could handle us old folks.
I always loved to tell her jokes just to watch her smile. We were family and friends going to the beach together was always fun telling Molly to low bark or watching the waves knowing we were safe to gather - I will miss Judi for she was not only my friend but my family . Prayers and Love goes out to our brother Gary and all of their family

We hadn’t known Judi for a long time but she made a huge impression on our hearts. We were neighbors and became friends quickly. My family loved her family and we will miss seeing her out feeding the ducks or working in her garden. Thank you for being a great friend Judi. Our condolences to the whole family.
