Judith A. Simms, 85, of Rockford, IL, passed away, Sunday, December 28, 2025 after a long illness. She was born May 24, 1940, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Nicholas and Dorothy (Holmquist) Vaccaro. Judy graduated from high school. She worked various jobs in the Rockford area. Judy enjoyed watching game shows and football and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her sisters, Linda Ayres and Claudette Welke; brother Joe Vaccaro; son, Leonard Durfey II; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Per Judith’s wishes, no services will take place. Burial in Willwood Burial Park, Rockford, IL.
