Junice L. Nelson, 96, of Elgin, IL, formerly of Huntley, passed away peacefully, Sunday afternoon, May 10, 2020 at the Vines Senior Living. Born February 8, 1924 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Albert and Minnie (Noss) Lee. Junice attended the Swedish American School of Nursing. She married George Nelson on October 21, 1945. Junice was a registered nurse for many years. She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Junice is loved and missed by her children, Jeanne Nelson, June Anderson and John Nelson; grandson, Anthony Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, brother Gerald Lee and sister Marcella Alexander.
A private service will take place. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
