Larry W. Bunch Jr., 52, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 8, 2024. Larry was born to Larry Sr. and Margaret Bunch on October 16, 1971, in Rockford. He attended Jefferson High School, and went on to be a machinist in the Rockford area.
Larry had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, and golfing. He especially loved watching his favorite sport teams including the Oakland Raiders, the Buffalo Bills, and the Boston Celtics. He also enjoyed giving tattoos to others, as well as getting them. He was always in the mood for a good, medium rare steak. He was known for going to Golden Corral and getting more than his money’s worth of steak. He had an amazing personality, with an even better sense of humor. He was sarcastic, but loving with his joking mannerisms. He was easy to get along with, and made friends with everyone. Above all else, he adored his grandchildren and his family in general.
He is survived by his sons, Tyler (Danielle Coyne) Bunch, Brandon Bunch, and Nick (Kristine Dean) McGrew; father, Larry (Verlene) Bunch Sr; grandchildren, Lillyanna Bunch, Michael Owen Bunch, Elliana Bunch, Arabella Bunch, Tristan Bunch, Isaiah Bunch, and Mechos Freeman; siblings, Stacy (James) Hillary, Darrell Bunch, and Charlene Ramsey; nieces, Alexandria Bunch, Anne Ramsey, and Amy Ramsey, and Melissa Perez; nephews, Randy (Kristina and DJ Farris,5,) Schell, Nathaniel Hillary, and Kristopher Hillary.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Bunch; mother, Margaret.
