Larry W. Lyons

Larry enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his friends, and cheering on his favorite Chicago teams, the Cubs and the Bears. He was a member of the White Eagles Club and served as president there for a bit.

Larry is survived by his wife, Carolan (Aronson) Lyons; children, David (Marissa) Lyons, Doug (Brenda) Lyons, and Don (Crystal) Lyons; step-children, Brenda Warner and Brad Bagley; grandchildren, Sean (Macey) Lyons, Zachery Lyons, Emma Lyons, Rachel Daniels, Rory Lyons, Caris Peterson, Adelaide Lyons, and Natalie Warner; and siblings, James Lyons, Yvonne Clark, Beverly Zamora, and Karen Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace Lyons; wife, Marilyn McQuade; and brother, Robert Lyons.

A visitation for Larry will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
