Lenora A. Ciaccio

Lenora A. Ciaccio, 90, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, July 18, 2018 at PA Peterson in Rockford. She was born on February 20, 1928 in Burtrum, MN, the daughter of Hugo and Martha (Dehn) Kuehne. Lenora married Louis J. Ciaccio. Lenora worked at Eagle Foods until her retirement. She was a former member of the Belvidere Moose Club. Lenora enjoyed softball and baseball in her younger years. She liked going to McDonald’s to meet her social group. Lenora loved polka music and polka dancing. Most of all, she loved talking about growing up on the farm in Minnesota.

Lenora is loved and missed by her sons, Anthony (Cathy) Ciaccio, and William (Olivia) Ciaccio; grandchildren, Michele, Brian, Janelle, Gina, Jessica, Trenton, Nicholas, Bethany Ciaccio; great-grandchildren, Skye, Sienna, and Nathan Ciaccio and Aaron and Katherine LaMagna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis, and 12 siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the family.
