Leo G. Kleindl

Leo was born on October 30, 1928 in Browns Valley, MN, the son of Leo L. and Mary (Frederick) Kleindl. Leo married Mary Lou Kobischka on August 12, 1949 and she preceded him in death on August 18, 1998. Leo was a Production Supervisor for Camcar and loved to play golf and enjoyed watching golf. He loved to do woodworking and work outside in his yard.

Leo is survived by his daughter Sandra Turner (Gary) and son Ken Kleindl (Nancy); brother Eugene Kleindl; sister Mary Lou Caumiant (Vern); grandchildren Chris Turner (Lisa), Jaymie Cook (Joe), Kari Moll (Mike) and Ken Kleindl (Stephanie); great-grandchildren Jacob Turner, Lucas Turner, Marilu Cook, Emma Cook, Sophia Moll and Paxton Kleindl; special friend Karen Wagner and several nieces and nephews.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Mary Kleindl, step father Ernie Royster, wife Mary Lou, brothers Clifford and Donald, sister Betty Pernot.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 21, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park. Sunset Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
