Linda K. Ingram, 73, of Machesney Park, passed away Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 of Cardiovascular disease. She was born October 27, 1945 in Yakima, WA, the daughter of Onie and Zula (Howard) Carr. Linda married Lonnie Ingram. Linda proudly obtained her GED. She was a dedicated employee at Wesley Willows for over 25 years, receiving multiple employee of the month awards. Linda retired living every woman’s dream of shopping daily. She was the Goodwill Queen for finding new bargains. She was a professional project fiddler, and craftsman. She loved gardening and her clematis vine. Linda was a great mother who loved unconditionally, who took pride in raising her family.
Linda is loved and missed by her children, Ray (Aleta) Shupe, Robert (Kelly) Shupe, and Melinda Overturf; grandchildren, Shannon, Chelsey, Joshua, Evan, Amber, Dillion and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Zaedyn, Azari, and Klause; sister, Bonnie Riptoe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her husband Lonnie, son, Randy Shupe, and sister, Imogene Sholes.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
