Lisa M. Garza, 41, Loves Park, passed away at Swedish American Hospital on April 29, 2012. She was born on July 8, 1970 to Jesse and Martha (Jenkins) Garza in Rockford, Illinois. She graduated from Lutheran High School in 1988. Lisa was employed as a Customer Representative for Sage Technologies. She loved taking care of her children.
She is survived by her parents, her children; Salvador “Sonny” Jesus Garza, Marco Antonio “Tony” Garza, a sister; Dawn Amerine, a nephew; Jesse Amerine, and her grandmother Unabell Jenkins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather; Reverend Clarence Jenkins, grandparents; Ventura and Jesus Argote and an uncle; Jerry Jenkins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 4pm to 6pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. A 6pm funeral service will follow with Reverend Harold Adams officiating. Private interment will be on Friday, May 4, 2012, 10am at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
