Lloyd A. Arnold passed on December 23, 2012. He was born in Rock Falls, Illinois on February 18, 1923 to Harry and Hazel (Hinds) Arnold. Raised in Rock Falls, he graduated Rock Falls High School and was a WWII veteran from the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Arnold worked as an administrative assistant at Ingersoll Milling Machine Company and the Rockford Library. Lloyd is survived by Frances (Struven), his wife of 63 years, daughters Kathleen Price, Jo Ellen McCarthy (Lawrence) and Mary Singleton (Joseph), grandchildren Matthew McCarthy, Laura Turianski (Michael) and Mark Singleton and great-grandchildren Shane Turianski and Mae Turianski.
Funeral service will be at 12:00pm, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park. Pastor K.D. Bodwell will be officiating. Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00pm, at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
