Lorraine Margaret Serri, age 91, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026. She was born on February 14, 1935 in Arlington, Illinois to Clinton and Jeanette (Slazas) Cassidy. Lorraine married the love of her life, Victor R Serri on June 12, 1954 and they spent 67 wonderful years together before he passed in 2021. She was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed maintaining her beautiful yard and flowers. She and Victor loved to go on trips to Las Vegas.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Lorrie (Joseph) Pierce of Rockford, IL; son, Victor A Serri of Sugar Land, TX; granddaughter, Jessica (Rick) Lighthall of Peoria, IL; sister, Mary Whitaker of Mesa, AZ; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor R Serri; parents, Clinton and Jeanette Cassidy; brother, George Cassidy; and sisters, Loretta Brown, Betty Cassidy, and Eleanor Marzetta.
A private funeral service will be held. Entombment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
