Louise Harriet Budd

Louise was born on November 23, 1914 in Hebron, IL to Harry and Elizabeth (Nagles) Yates. She married Charles “Tony” Budd on March 5, 1938 in Rockford, IL.

Louise is survived by her daughters: Phyllis (Edward) Konopa and Janice (William) Karr, both of Rockford; grandchildren: Sharon (Curtis) Watkins, John (Diane) Konopa, Sandra (Steave) Hall, Brian (Ponphet) Konopa, Joel (Kelley) Konopa, Brian (Marianna) Karr, Michelle Fonneman and Julie Minbiole; ten great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and brother-in-law Robert Askey.

Louise was predeceased by her parents, husband, grandson Myke Minbiole, brother Harold, sisters Dorothy Doran, Frances Hall, Anna Johnson and Marjorie Askey.

Memorials are suggested to Heartland Hospice or Shriner’s Crippled Children’s Hospital.

The family of Louise would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Rosewood Care Center and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care.

A service to celebrate Louise’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 15, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Willwood Cemetery in Rockford.
