Lucille A. Paul

Lucille A. Paul, 81, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 06, 2022 at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. She was born December 29, 1940 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter of John B. and Rosalia (Thuecks) Proulx. She was employed at Sunstrand in Rockford for over 25 years. Lucille married Carl E. Paul in July of 1992. Lucille enjoyed going to the casino and traveling with Carl, especially to Colorado, and going for drives through Rock Cut State Park. Most of all, Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lucille is loved and missed by her children, Renee (Dave) Erickson, Judy Olmstead (Scott), Jim (Karen) Buck, Roxann Crandell and Duane Buck; 6 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Corrine Hakes, Bernice Schueller (Dominick) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl E. Paul; siblings, Norman Proulx, Leonard Proulx and Lorraine Proulx.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
