Marion E. Wentz Rinehart

Marion E. Rinehart, 98, of Machesney Park, passed away on October 19, 2015. Born November 18, 1916, in Stephenson County. The daughter of Marlin F. and Ena May (Atherton) Wentz. Marion graduated from Lanark High School. Married Fred T. Rinehart on December 20, 1941. She was a homemaker who had a passion for sewing, knitting, baking, reading and traveling. She was a long time member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 641 and the Loves Park Chapter of Winnebago County Home Extension Group. She was a member of Northeast Christian Church and enjoyed many outings with the senior group there.

Survived by daughter, Sue (Patrick) Williams of Caledonia; grandchildren, Trisha (Jeff) Grimmett and Traci (Dan) Fermanich; step grandchildren, Mike (Corinna) Williams and Elizabeth (Manny) Lara; great grandchildren, Courtney, Kayla and Nicholas; step great grandchildren, Madeline, Owen, Isabella and Lily; sister, Virginia Belisle; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; husband; brothers, Delbert, Marlin and William; sister, Ruth.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Visitation: 10 a.m. until time of service. Entombment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
