Marvin G. Feldt, 91, of Beloit, WI, formerly of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 14, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 15, 1926 in Arpin, WI, the son of George and Mary (Strope) Feldt. Marvin married the love of his life, Ellen Brey, on Friday, June 13, 1947 at Klondike Trinity Church. He was a farmer at heart but worked as a machinist at Rockford Products for over 30 years. Marvin was a faithful servant at Trinity Lutheran Church in Beloit, WI and St. Paul Lutheran in Rockford, IL. He loved hunting, fishing, and farming. Marvin was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Most of all, he adored being with his family.
Marvin is loved and missed by his loving wife, Ellen; children, Doug (Diane) Feldt, Cheryl Ries, and George (Carolyn) Feldt; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Campolo; son-in-law, Ron Niman; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Feldt. He was preceded in death by his parents, children, Jane Catherine Niman, Valli Rae (Jim) Miller, Richard Marvin Feldt, Randall Paul Feldt and sister, Dorothy Steffek.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a visitation to be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
