Mary Jo Ponder, age 83, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Mary Jo was born in St. Bernice, Indiana on October 30, 1939 to Ernest and Thelma Wagner. Mary Jo graduated from St. Bernice High School in 1957. She loved watching all sports, mainly baseball. Mary Jo loved to go bowling in her younger days.
Mary Jo is survived by her children, Kimberly (Edward) Geigan, Keith Ponder, Kelli (Jack) Ponder, Kriss (Marie Felse) Ponder; grandchildren, Kristi, Stephanie, Trey, Kurtis, and Tony; 5 great grandchildren and one more on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ponder; son, Kurtis Ponder; her parents; and brother James Wagner.
Private Services will be held with the family.
