Mary J. Stricker, 81, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Mary was born October 9, 1943, in Doniphan, Missouri, to John and Mae Hughes. Mary attended cosmetology school locally, which set her path and passion in life. Throughout the years, Mary worked her services out of her home and had her own salon. Anyone who knew Mary, knew she always looked just perfect. Her hair was always just right, and her clothes were always stylish. This naturally gave Mary an excuse to go shopping wherever and whenever she had the chance.
Mary is survived by her children, Jeff DuSavage and Amber (Rob) Creviston; grandchildren, Seth DuSavage, Shannon DuSavage, Karissa DuSavage, Joshua Creviston, and Colton Grissom; many great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Hughes.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Campbell; grandson, Aaron Grissom; parents, John and Mae Hughes.
