They always say "there' in a better place" when someone passes away.  Well  Heaven is "a better place"   because my dear sweet beautiful grandpa is in it ....  Love to all my family.

I only learned of Max's passing last evening. I am so sorry--Max was one of the sweetest spirits. My mom, his cousin, Exie Binkley Jones, loved Max dearly. We loved to hear him play the guitar and sing--especially an old song he wrote, '61, 66, 67, just like heaven; that's the road that leads to my hometown.' Max--you are missed. To Pauline, and Linda, and all the family, my sincerest sympathy. You are in my thoughts and prayers today.

I only knew Max for a short time. He was one of my favorite patients at my Dental office. I always looked forward to seeing him because he always brightened up my day. Very hard to see someone so sweet go so suddenly. He will be missed

Max was such a loving and giving man to all who knew him.  He will be missed by many but most of all by his wife Pauline whom I love dearly.  Rest in peace Max, you are finally home.  We will see you one day.  Save a place for me.

I consider Max and Pauline Ward two of our dearest friends. Max was the most considerate and loving and caring person I ever knew. We played gospel music together many times at church, rescue missions, and WLUV radio. His love for the Lord showed through in every thing he did and he certainly was a great influence on my life as well as many others I'm sure. Me and my wife will miss him greatly but we're certain He's up their playing with the Angel Band now.  Our prayers go out to Pauline and family.  Dale & Diana Reints
