Mickey Gene Phillips-Klewin passed away on October 22, 2018 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 70. Mickey was born on October 7, 1948 in Walnut Ridge, AR. She moved to Rockford in 1965 and worked at Elco Industries for 37 years as a Quality Control Specialist. She married Clinton Klewin Jr. in 2001. Mickey began school in Walnut Ridge and finished at Rock Valley College.
Mickey is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Dan) Casazza; brothers, Gilbert and James Young; sisters, Martha Coke, Helen Matthews, and Sonja Sisemore. She is predeceased by her husband C.J.; parents Ed and Gail Sudduth; brothers, Harvel, Bill and Sam Morris.
