Mildred Geneva Hilburn, age 95, of Rockford, Illinois was called home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Mildred was born July 19, 1926, the daughter of Isom and Gracie (Green) Hilburn.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents: Isom and Gracie; brothers: Buddy Jr., Willie, Jim, Albert and Donald; sisters: Mary Hilburn and Peggy Stephenson.

Graveside service to celebrate Mildred's life will be 11:00 AM on Friday July 1, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park. Sunset Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
